Introduction
Welcome to the interactive 3dCoding website of Gavin Simpson.
This site is currently under construction (Friday the 15th July, 2011). It will be upload on a random basis and is therefore for testing purposes only until further notice.
The image thumbnails on the left are from our inhouse 3d editor, with a working title of g3db.
More information relating to programming and playing around in webGL, openGL, html5, css3, AJAX, javascript and php will follow.

KimNatalie.com is up and running. I've added some blogs there, mostly relating to setting up CKEditor, but it's really simple with php.
I will be incorporating the blogging system on this website as well as www.protectturbochargers.co.za in due course.

I have put the Android tuts on hold as I have too much going on.
I am busy developing a blogging website, which I will use to replace the buggy blog pages on this site. You can check it out at www.kimnatalie.com but pleae be aware it's currently under construction.
At the same time I have developed a 2d paint program already using html5, css3 and processing.js. This is a forerunner to fixing the WebGL page which take too long to start running. I will put the code up as soon as I get a chance.

I am currently working on a tutorial for using c++ and OpenGL on Andriod 3.2.
Only the good Lord knows how long this is going to take. So please check back from time to time if you are interested in the subject.

Added the fifth article. This covers loading models into a scene.
Added the sixth article covering Vertex Buffer Objects.
July 24th, 2011
Added article number four, which covers creating a 'scene' class, using a '3d point' class, and generating data as opposed to hard coded data. The next article will be on loading data from an xml file to load into vertexArrays.

Just a note on Microsoft Internet Explorer.
As there are so many versions out there, with another version currently being released (I think), combined with it's lack of decent support for css3, html5 and javascript, I am not trying to keep this site running properly for it. Please take my advice and download Firefox from www.mozilla.org. You will not regret it. As a result of using IE this site will not look good, and certain elements of the site such as the blogs just don't work too well.

I have started updating the articles. The first articles explain how to use MS VC++ 2010 Express to set up an openGL program.
